Spectrum underglazes are all lead-free, dinnerware safe, and A/P non-toxic when covered with a clear glaze. Underglazes can be applied to bisque or raw clay. Two to three coats are required to achieve vibrant colors. Sample s are shown fired to cone 05. Underglazes can be fired low, mid or high fire. Some variation will occur in higher temps. clear coat thickness can also affect the hue of the underglaze.
